Sadly enough, the only pictures I remembered to take on Mother's Day! Poco was working on a big storm down in Southern Illinois and was gone for a week, so it was just the boys and I. We started that Sunday with a big breakfast at the Community building in Stanford. They have one every month and all the proceeds go to the big firework display they put on in July. It was awesome! Our family LOVES breakfast for any meal, and it was all you can eat (I was just determined NOT to cook on Mother's Day!).......we will be back next month! They we decided to go to the zoo since we were up and moving, dressed and fed! The sea lions decided to give us a special show.... we were the only ones around them and they were leaping through the water and then kept jumping up on the ledge right in front of us and started barking and looking at Peyton-who was clapping estatically for them! I swear they were STARING at us for the longest time, especially the one who is blind/has a lazy eye...which was kind of freaky! ANYWAYS......after our great weekly trip to the zoo and personal sea lion show we went home for naps, then we were off to my Dad's for dinner, which was great....I didn't have to cook AGAIN! All in all...a great day! Wish Poco could have been here, but that's the way it goes! Maybe next year....at least my two little munchkins made the day extra special!
