Pics from our trip to Brookfield Zoo, Chicago. Mom, Janelle and I took the boys up there for an overnight trip. Went great! The boys loved the pool at the hotel, slept great and we had a wonderful time at the zoo the next day. Yet, no trip is without "accidents"....right??? Well, we only had three biggies, which I thought was pretty good for our first trip.

1. Threw away Mom's paring knife which was accidentally left in our pizza box. Whoops. She claims it was "a really good knife" too. Christmas will be here soon, right?

2. SOMEONE shut Janelle's hand in the door of the van. She is okay.....no broken bones...yee ha!

3. Peyton locked himself in one of the hotel rooms through our adjoining door between the two rooms we had. Luckily...he is still pretty easy to please! Mom and Peyton kept passing dollar bills under the door until I could get someone to get the door unlocked. We had the front door deadbolted, and the doors adjoining the rooms had no handles on the inside(?) .....the men at the front desk were a little confused when I said my one year old locked himself in our room and we couldn't get him out! He was just fine....just a little scared!

All in all....a great time......came home with every one in tact, we look forward to our next trip!
